About this lock

The Kezvion short-handle push/pull lock in matte black carries the same electronics as our long-handle model in a compact grip, for the doors a full-length handle will not suit: sliding doors, narrow aluminium stiles and framed glass. Stainless-steel body, tempered-glass touchscreen, IP66 weather rating.

Sliding door? Order the hook bolt

A straight bolt slides into a jamb; on a sliding door there is no jamb to slide into. The hook bolt pivots and catches the keeper instead. Two of the six mortise options — 3585 hook and 2885 hook — are built for exactly that.

Will it fit your door?

Choose the mortise that is already in your door. The four-digit code is a measurement — backset first, then the distance between the handle and cylinder centres. 6085 (60 mm / 85 mm) is the usual fitting on 60 mm hinged timber doors; 4585 is common on European doors and some UK composite doors; 3585 and 2885 are for narrow aluminium stiles. The 3585 and 2885 hook-bolt versions are the ones to pick for a sliding door — a straight bolt has nothing to grip on a track. Door thickness 45–55 mm with the standard kit — thinner or thicker, email us the measurement before you order. Measure before you order — the sizing guide shows exactly where to put the tape, or email a photo of your door edge and we will tell you.

Six ways to unlock

  • Fingerprint — semiconductor reader, up to 100 prints, typically 0.1 s.
  • Keypad code — tempered-glass touchscreen, up to 50 codes, with virtual passwords (pad your code with random digits in front of onlookers).
  • IC card — two cards in the box, up to 100 stored.
  • TTLock app — Bluetooth at the door; remote access, e-keys and the access log once you add the optional G2 Wi-Fi gateway.
  • Remote control — handy for driveways and gates.
  • Mechanical key — two supplied. A USB emergency port on the outside panel wakes the keypad from a power bank if the four AA batteries ever run flat.

Good to know

  • Rated IP66 by the manufacturer, with waterproof seals in the box and a stated operating range of −25 °C to 70 °C — suitable for an exposed entry door.
  • Batteries (4 × AA alkaline) are not included.
  • Bluetooth out of the box; Wi-Fi remote access needs a TTLock G2 gateway, which is not included and not sold by us — any TTLock G2 gateway works. No Apple Home or Matter.
  • Handing is reversible — one lock fits a left- or right-hung door.
  • Not certified for fire doors or required exit doors.

Backset CalculatorTwo questions, about a minute — find the exact mortise for your door

Two questions, about a minute. Keep a tape measure handy.

How to measure the backset, borehole, door thickness and stile width on a typical door
1Your door

Where is this lock going?

The gate lock suits that better

This is a door lock. For a gate, our SL-G1 has a 34 mm panel made for narrow gate uprights and fingerprint readers on both sides.

2Your measurement

Measure from the faceplate of your existing mortise to the centre of the square spindle hole. What does it read?

Order the 6085 mortise

60 mm backset, 85 mm centres. This is the one most 60 mm timber doors take.

Order the 4585 mortise

45 mm backset, 85 mm centres.

Order the 3585 mortise

If your door slides, order the 3585 hook bolt version instead — a straight bolt will not hold on a slider.

Order the 2885 mortise

If your door slides, order the 2885 hook bolt version instead.

You need a hook bolt

A straight bolt has nothing to grip on a sliding door. Measure your backset, then order the hook bolt version of that size — 2885 hook or 3585 hook.

Measure the mortise, not the door

Measure from the faceplate to the centre of the square spindle hole. The sizing guide shows it with a diagram.

Not sure at any point? Open the full sizing guide, or email us a photo of your door edge with a tape measure across it and we will tell you exactly what to order.

Guides and installation

Check the size, then follow the guide

Same electronics as the long-handle version, on a short grip made for narrow stiles and sliding doors. The four-digit mortise code is the measurement your door has to match — read it as backset then centres, and order the hook-bolt version if your door slides.

Batteries are not included. Four AA alkaline cells. Buy them with the lock so you are not stuck on installation day.

Door thickness: 45–55 mm with the standard kit. That is the figure we publish everywhere and the one the fitting notes support; the manufacturer's spec sheet quotes wider figures that need extra parts. Thinner or thicker than 45–55 mm? Email us the measurement before you order.

The mortise code is not decoration. Ordering 4585 for a 60 mm backset door will not fit, and no amount of adjusting will make it. Measure first.

Remote access needs a TTLock G2 gateway, not included and not sold by us — any TTLock G2 gateway works.

Hinged timber doors are usually 60 mm backset — a standard UK 3 in (57 mm) latch counts as 60. Unless you have measured otherwise, 6085 is the option you want.

No UK (UKCA) marking is claimed. Ask us before ordering if you need compliance paperwork for a landlord, an insurer or a commercial fit-out.

Before you buy

Questions people ask about this lock

Fitting and measurement questions in depth live in the sizing guide. How to choose between our five types is in the buying guide.

Do I need a hook bolt?

If the door slides, yes. A straight bolt has nothing to grip on a sliding door; a hook bolt swings out and catches the jamb.

What is the difference between this and the Long Handle model?

Handle length only — the electronics are identical. Short handle here for narrow stiles and sliding doors, long handle on the Long Handle model for full-width timber and glass doors.

Will it fit my aluminium-framed glass door?

Measure the backset on your existing lock. If it comes out at 28 mm or 35 mm, yes — order the matching code, with the hook version if the door slides.

Can it go on an exposed door?

Yes, it is rated IP66 with waterproof rubbers supplied.

Does it work with Apple Home?

No. TTLock, with Alexa through the optional gateway.

Are batteries included?

No. Four AA alkaline cells, bought separately.
