About this lock
A weatherproof lock with a fingerprint reader on both sides — the detail that matters on a gate, where there is no hallway to leave a key in. You go out the same way you came in, with nothing in your pockets. Rated IP66 by the manufacturer: dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets, so the Kezvion gate lock belongs on a front gate, side gate or courtyard door in direct rain and sun.
Will it fit your gate?
This is a surface-mounted rim lock, not a mortise. Nothing is cut into the upright: the body bolts to the inside face of the gate and the keeper screws to the frame opposite — which is what makes it practical on steel or aluminium gates where a mortise pocket is not an option. Keypad panel 170 × 58 × 35 mm, lock body 130 × 100 × 42 mm, keeper 100 × 40 × 35 mm, 60 mm backset to the 30 mm brass cylinder. Suits material 20–65 mm thick in steel, timber or stainless steel; handing is reversible. The dimensioned drawing is in the photos, and the sizing guide shows where to measure.
Ways to unlock
- Fingerprint, both sides.
- Keypad code — anti-peep layout so a bystander cannot read your code off the panel.
- RFID card — for regular visitors.
- Mechanical key — the override.
- No app, no gateway — this is the standalone version: fingerprints, codes and cards are managed on the keypad itself.

Returns & Refunds
Change of mind — You have 14 days from delivery to return an unused lock in its original packaging, with all accessories, cards and keys.
Your statutory rights — On top of that, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which cannot be excluded. Where the law gives you more than our 14-day policy, the law wins.
Return postage — Paid by you for a change of mind. Paid by us if the item is faulty, damaged on arrival, the wrong item, or not as described.

Where is this lock going?
The gate lock suits that better
This is a door lock. For a gate, our SL-G1 has a 34 mm panel made for narrow gate uprights and fingerprint readers on both sides.
2Your measurement
Measure from the faceplate of your existing mortise to the centre of the square spindle hole. What does it read?
Order the 6085 mortise
60 mm backset, 85 mm centres. This is the one most 60 mm timber doors take.
Order the 4585 mortise
45 mm backset, 85 mm centres.
Order the 3585 mortise
If your door slides, order the 3585 hook bolt version instead — a straight bolt will not hold on a slider.
Order the 2885 mortise
If your door slides, order the 2885 hook bolt version instead.
You need a hook bolt
A straight bolt has nothing to grip on a sliding door. Measure your backset, then order the hook bolt version of that size — 2885 hook or 3585 hook.

Read this before you order
This is the standalone version — no app. Fingerprints, codes and cards are enrolled on the keypad itself. If you need a gate lock you can open from your phone, this is not it — email us and we will tell you honestly what we can offer.
IP66 is a weather rating, not a security rating. It says nothing about how hard the lock is to force. On an exposed gate, pair it with a gate frame and hinges that are worth locking.
No voice assistants. Alexa and Google Assistant are not available on this lock.
CE, FCC and RoHS marked according to the manufacturer (documentation being verified); no UKCA marking is claimed. Ask us before ordering if you need compliance paperwork.

Can I really leave this out in the rain?
That is what IP66 means and what the manufacturer states — direct rain and sun. It is the reason to choose this lock over the rest of the range.
Will it fit a steel gate upright?
The panel is 34 mm wide, which is narrow enough for most steel and aluminium gate uprights. Measure the flat face of your upright before ordering.
Does it open from the inside without a key?
Yes — there is a fingerprint reader on the inside face too, which is the whole point on a gate.
Can I let a delivery driver in?
Not from your phone — this lock has no app. You can add a code on the keypad for the day and delete it afterwards, or share a code and change it later.
What about the summer heat?
It is built for outdoor use, but no lock enjoys full afternoon sun on a hot summer afternoon. Mounting it on a shaded face of the gate will extend the life of the seals and the batteries.
