Outdoor and gate smart locks
Locks for the places that get wet. The gate lock is a surface-mounted rim lock with a fingerprint reader on both sides and an IP66 rating — it bolts onto steel, aluminium or timber gates without cutting a mortise. The two lever locks in this collection suit sheltered side and back doors where a conventional handle is wanted.
Exposed or sheltered?
- Exposed to rain and sun — choose an IP66-rated model: the gate lock here, or the push/pull range for a hinged entry door.
- Under a porch, eave or roof — a lever lock is fine; neither lever model carries a published weather rating.
